Bahraini Section of Al Noor International School celebrated its 17th Annual Day on Thursday, 6th May 2010 at 7:00 p.m in the school M.P. Hall. The day was a great success with colourful and inspiring programmes which were greatly admired and welcomed by the audience.
Academic Excellence awards were handed to:

- Ameena Tawfiq Al Hamer (Grade 7)
- Waleed Khaldoun Saadideen (Grade 8)
- Thuwaiba Isa Mousa (Grade 9)
- Ahmed Faisal Rasheed (Grade 10)
- Mariam A.Rahman Mohammed (Grade 11)
- Moh’d Ali Abdulla A.Rahman & Moh’d Essa Moh’d Al Jassim (Grade 12)
69 students received prizes for their achievements in the annual Talent Competition.
The day was a special one started with welcome Speeches in Arabic and English by Amna khalid of Grade 9 and Ameena Tawfiq of Grade 8. Various shows, such as, a display by the children of grades 3 & 4 entitled as “Duaa- for the great Teacher”, a song “My School” by the young ones of classes 1 & 2, a musical dance performance of students from grades 5, 6 & 7 representing the four seasons and finally a skit named “The Plague” by the senior students were the highlights of the day.
The School Chairman Mr. Ali Hassan presented the trophies for the “Academic Excellence” holders of grades 1 to 12. Also, present were the School Principal Mr. Hassan Al Mehri, Director Mr. Mohammed Mashood, Head Teachers, Co-ordinators, Teachers and students. The hall was filled with the parents who came to support their children and enjoy the evening.
