The British Middle and Senior Sections of Al Noor International School celebrated its 17th Annual Day on 4th May, a day much awaited by most students. This was an opportunity for the parents to admire their childrens’ talents and to applaud the top academic performers in each standard.

Excellence awards were handed to Murtaza Mustafa (Grade 5), Maram Magdi Mohammed Abdulrahman (Grade 6), Yusra Mansoor Ali (Grade 7), Ahmed Atef Ashoor (Grade 8) and Momin Jawaid Ali (Grade 9). Sixty three students received prizes for their achievements in the annual Talent Competition.

This auspicious occasion was attended by the School Chairman Mr. Ali Hassan, the Principal Mr. Hassan Al-Mehri, the Director Mr. Mohammed Mashood, the Head Teachers of the various sections, Co-ordinators and teachers. The hall was filled to capacity with enthusiastic parents who came to support the 150 participants in the show.

A colourful cultural programme which revolved round the theme

“Peace, Unity & Love” was put up by the students. The programme included an Arabic skit and an English Community Theatre Drama.

To add to the lively evening, the scintillating band kept the feet of the audience tapping from start to finish.
